As a fiber artist, I layer image, thread, and fabric to create figurative work. Whether two or three dimensional, representational or conceptual, I use my sewing machine as a drawing tool to create contour line and dense textures which represent multiple layers of the human experience. My work is intended as a bridge spanning differences and similarities in hopes of supporting stronger communities.
